Welcome to the Aerospace Medicine practice at Wright State University Boonshoft School of Medicine. Aerospace Medicine is the preventive medicine specialty that promotes the health and functional well being of pilots, astronauts and other flight crew members as well as all other people traveling in air or space.

Flight Medicine Clinic

The Wright State University Flight Medicine Clinic is a full-service Aviation Medical Examiner (AME) clinic dedicated only to flight medicine services. Our AME physicians are board certified in aerospace medicine and perform:

  • First, second and third class Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) medical physicals
  • Aeromedical consultation services
  • FAA employee physicals (air traffic control and pre-employment applicants)
  • HIMS AME services
  • COG Screen AE testing
  • Optec 900 (Farnsworth lantern equivalent) testing
