Hair Reduction Laser

Hair removal can be performed in our office with a Cool Touch Varia laser. This laser works through selective absorption of laser energy by the melanin in the hair follicle. It turns light into heat energy and increases the temperature, thus altering or destroying the hair follicle. Results depend on many things, including the stage of hair growth, hair color and texture, and the depth of the follicles. This procedure is safe to use on all skin types provided all the necessary requirements are met.
